DAVID LIVINGSTONE(1813 – 1873) : SHINE IN THE DARK
Yes. As you think it was really a dark continent. That was Africa. But now?
David Livingstone entered there. He made the Dark Continent to glow. He was the best among the pioneering missionaries who served in Africa. He tirelessly served for 33 years. Africa was famous for slave trading. Livingstone completely eradicated the trade. He put an end to all the atrocities. He revived Africa. He gave his life. Livingstone was a Doctor, people’s benefactor, inventor, above all he lived like Jesus.
He walked nearly 29000 miles and revealed to the world many great truths. Many parts of Africa were discovered by him. He went to the nook and corner of Africa and conducted research on ‘Animals and Plants’.
He was simple but strong, he succeeded in all he ventured. Dangers and obstacles were troubled unable to stop his swift movements. The tribe of Africa looked upon Livingstone as living Jesus Christ. He moved with everyone either Black or White, without any bias but with affection. He brought in equality.
Large numbers of ministries are established only in Africa compared to any other country. The fore runner for this was the dedicated missionary David Livingstone. He entered into glory on 01.05.1873.
